We welcome year-round submissions of literary work that aligns with our ethos and vision. We ask that prior to submitting you familiarise yourself with the books that Moonrise and Revolutionaries publishes.

Submission guidelines

1. Please ensure your manuscript is completed to a high standard, first drafts or incomplete manuscripts will not be accepted.

2. Write an email to our CEO, Wallea Eaglehawk with your manuscript title and the words ‘submission’ and ‘Moonrise’ in the subject line.

3. In the body of the email place your query or pitch, ensuring it contains information about you as the author and an indication of the manuscript type and length.

4. In the attachments please include your full manuscript in either PDF or Doc form as well as a synopsis and an author bio including links to any relevant social media accounts or websites.

Important information

We currently do not accept poetry collections under 100 pages or novel manuscripts under 50,000 words.

What happens after you submit

Wallea will review your submission within two weeks and either provide a rejection, ask for further information, or offer a publishing agreement. From there you will be assigned an editor who will guide you through the publication process.
